Ingredients:

- 1 tbsp vanilla extract
- 2 cups (250g) all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- ½ tsp baking soda
- ½ tsp salt
For the Cinnamon Swirl:
- ⅓ cup brown sugar
- 1 tbsp ground cinnamon
For the Glaze:
- ¾ cup powdered sugar
- 1–2 tbsp milk
- ½ tsp vanilla extract
Instructions:
1. Preheat Oven:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9×5-inch loaf pan or line with parchment.
2. Make the Batter:
- In a large bowl, cream the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Beat in eggs one at a time, then mix in buttermilk and vanilla.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- Add dry ingredients to the wet, stirring until just combined.
3. Layer the Swirl:
- Pour half of the batter into the prepared pan.
- Mix brown sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl, then sprinkle over the batter.
- Add the remaining batter and swirl lightly with a knife.
4. Bake:
- Bake for 45–55 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
5. Glaze & Serve:
- Whisk glaze ingredients until smooth. Drizzle over the warm or cooled bread.
