 Ingredients:

  • 8 oz (225g) pasta (penne, rotini, or shells work great)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 lb (450g) thinly sliced beef (ribeye, flank steak, or sirloin)
  • 1 small onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 green bell pepper, thinly sliced
  • 1 red bell pepper, thinly sliced (optional)
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • ½ cup beef broth
  • ¾ cup heavy cream
  • 1½ cups shredded provolone or mozzarella cheese
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Optional garnish: chopped parsley or chili flakes

 Instructions:

1. Cook the Pasta:

  • Bring a pot of salted water to a boil. Cook pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

2. Sear the Beef:

  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Add the beef in batches to avoid overcrowding. Sear for 1–2 minutes per side, just until browned. Season lightly with salt and pepper. Remove and set aside.

3. Cook the Veggies:

  • In the same skillet, add butter.
  • Sauté sliced onions and bell peppers until soft and caramelized (about 6–8 minutes).
  • Add garlic and cook for 1 more minute.

  • Toss everything together until well coated. Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper.

6. Serve:

  • Garnish with parsley or chili flakes and serve hot!
